Our small guesthouse Haus Seehof, in a quiet location on the shores of lake Ruppin (15 km2 of water) is situated in the Seehof sector of Gnewikow which belongs to the Fontane town of Neuruppin

Detailed description:

The guesthouse is surrounded by 3000 m2 of gardens with seating and barbecue corner by the Koi pond. In Summer, you can contemplate our cactus plantation. You will be able to taste fruit, vegetables, as well as our jam, made the traditional way, from our own production. Our guests have access to the jetty with mooring for a boat and a rowing boat. Great fishing possibilities. Swimming from the jetty is possible. Sun bathing area at the water’ s edge and sun lawn in the garden. The regional express runs every hour to Berlin and back. On the motorway A24, Berlin is about 80km, Potsdam 65 km. and the district town of Neuruppin 8 km from your holiday home. The rooms are about 18 m2 in size with a gallery (loggia) and view of the lake. Each room has Sat-TV, radio and a refrigerator. There is a minibar in the small communal kitchen where you can prepare small meals and warm drinks.

Description of the area:

The entire sector of Gnewikow including Seehof as well as the “ Fontane” town itself is situated on lake Ruppin. The walking trails do not, as yet, cover the entire shores of lake Ruppin. Great hiking possibilities. It is also possible to discover the area by bike.

Our rooms are not holiday apartments. They are mainly for groups, families etc. without bedding 10 persons, with bedding 12 persons. You can bring your own cots.

Fishing, hiking, horse riding (can be arranged), cycling (bikes can be arranged), swimming, boat riding, guest boating, thermal bath “ Gesundbrunnen” (health spring) with lake-sauna in Neuruppin. The sports centre can be used by our guests.

How to find us:

By car: motorway A 24, exit Neuruppin-Süd (South). Please turn left and keep to the left all along! Continue through the hamlet of Dammkrug (only a few houses), Langen, Wustrau and Altfriesack. After about 100m, turn left again. Cross the village of Karwe. After about 1. 5 km, you will reach Seehof. Our house is the 2nd house on your left. By Regionalbahn (regional train) RE6: every hour from Berlin-Spandau to Neuruppin. We can pick you up from there if you wish.
