The house and its surroundings
Surrounded by cork oaks, olive trees, open fields and meadows, 900 m from the nearest asphalt, located in a beautiful valley with a creek as Plotboundary is the house.

Two bedrooms, a large room with half open kitchen, dining and living area combined, and a bathroom to offer approximately 70 square enough space for four people.

Before the holiday guest house is a large terrace.



To live ...

In the kitchen is everything that four persons need to the self food supply:
Stove and refrigerator, table-ware and accessories.

The large kitchen table invites you to dinner as an equal to play, read, talk and forge plans for the day.

The stove is in late autumn and winter, covered heated sufficiently to the house and through the glass, he also brings a cozy atmosphere in the room.

Two double beds, one of which may also be made separately, and shelves are available in two sleeping rooms.

The bathroom with toilet, shower and sink is bright and friendly.



The plot
On half a hectare, you will find many different places where you can enjoy your stay:
A seat in the shade of a huge bay tree, a romantic source, other seating with a beautiful view of the landscape.

The high-light is the stream where the water flows all year. Again, there are several places, where you can freshen up, enjoy the rush or build dams.

The site and its surroundings offer many opportunities for rest and relaxation but also many opportunities for fun and action, adventure and nature discovery for young and old.


The nearest localities are
São Luis are and Cercal. Both are within 5 km each, offering everything for your daily needs (butchers, bakers, supermarkets and public markets), several cafes and restaurants.

Vila Nova de Milfontes is the nearest town by the sea (19 km - about 15 minutes by car).



Located in the Alentejo

The Alentejo is a touristy little explored region of Portugal, gently ascending slopes alternate with landscapes with high mountains and Plato.

The unique coastal area is part of the Nature Reserves "Sudoeste e Costa Vicentina" and provides an ideal habitat for a wide range of fauna and flora.

Here Offering excellent hiking opportunities on several marked hiking trails.

The coast is full of fascinating beaches and bays, as Malhão, Vila Nova de Milfontes with the mouth of the Mira (especially suitable for families with young children!) Almograve Zambujeira do Mar or Carvalhal.

and we are ...
Since 1997 we live, Vera Thönnes and Pippo Vincent Monastra, now in Portugal and has a small studio in Sao Luis (Atelier Vincent).

Since 2007, we live here in Janeirinha and create and design this piece of land and the two houses with a lot of initiative.

Children are always welcome and we will take our time to them. Especially in the artistic and craft area, we like to share our experiences with them.

We live here with two dogs and two cats, and look forward to your visit!
