The Castello di Luzzano is situated in one of most beautiful spots of the area. It sits astride a hilltop at 270 m straddling the border between the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Lombardia , with views over the hills of Oltrepo Pavese to one side and the Colli Piacentini to the other, and enjoys soils that support a large array of grape varieties and vield superb wines.
The hamlet that forms the estate has, apart from the Castle, a beautiful Church, built in the neo-classical style, traditional workers cottages and the old Custom house which, recently, has been turned as a inn with sleeping rooms and a stylish restaurant serving local food with the great Luzzano's wines. In these ancient surroundings, with its 18th century cottages fully renovated, visitors can stay in small, delightfully furnished apartments, which they may use as a base for exploring the area, seeped in history and beauty.

How to find us:

Approaching from the exit of CASTEL SAN GIOVANNI on the A21 motorway Piacenza-Torino: Take right at the roundabout in Castel San Giovanni. At the traffic light, near Esso pump, turn left. When in a square turn right in Via Matteotti. Proceed for 200 m. until reaching the signpost to CRETA and CASTELLO DI LUZZANO on the left. From here continue for 7.5 km until reaching a yellow-blue house, which is our Locanda, with bedrooms and restaurant. For the apartments follow the yellow signpost to CASTELLO DI LUZZANO on the right, the white road will lead you to our offices at the end of a path lined with trees and hedges. If using the navigator set to Creta. We are 1 km beyond this village. If setting on Luzzano or Rovescala you would be leaded on unsurfaced roads lengthening the way.
