The cottage has a south-facing front garden, sitting room, kitchen/diner with hand made units and granite worktops, there are 2 staircases each leading to a bedroom and bathroom. To the rear of the cottage is a private courtyard.
Thorpeness was created by local landowner Glencairn Ogilvie in the early 1900s as a haven for wealthy Edwardian holidaymakers, with Golf Course, Tennis Courts, Boating Lake and Village Inn. Today visitors still come to the village to enjoy the facilities or just to calm down and relax.

Description of the area:

Thorpeness is set on the Suffolk Heritage Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The towns of Aldeburgh, Snape, Dunwich, Orford, Woodbridge, Minsmere and Southwold are all within easy reach.
