From here you can make tours to the capital San José, to the different national parks, to the volcanoes Irazú and Barva. Sarchí with its different souvenir shops, the bird park in La Garita, the snake farm in Grecia and so on. The nearest beach it takes you around 90 minutes with the car. The bus stop is 300 meters away from the house. In Atenas you have possibilities to get a bus to the beach for example to Jacó or to San José.

Coming from the airport you drive the route nr. 1 (Interamericana) in direction to San Ramón. After 10.5 km you will leave the highway turning the street nr. 3 to ATENAS (direction to Jacó). After 9.5 km - 4 km before Atenas - you turn at the LEFT direction Concepción/ECAG. Following this street 3.3 km until coming to the coral colored wall with Bougainvilleas you turn right to the little urbanisation "Los Guanacastes". 300 m more then turn right till entrance nr. 7 then you arrived: Welcome!
