Description of the area:

Pomorie ist eine kleine Stadt an der sudlichen bulgarischen Schwarzmeerkuste und liegt auf einer schmalen Halbinsel weit im Meer,in unmittelbarer Nahe von der Bezirkstadt Burgas- 20 km. und dem Flughafen Burgas- 10 km. Die Stadt hat einen langen Sandstreifen- 8 km lang,wo der Strand mit feinem goldgelbenem Sand bedeckt ist. Der Strand ist bewacht und es werden Liegen,Sonnenschirme, Sportmoglichkeiten und Essen angeboten. Direkt an der Strandpromenade sind kleine zahlreichen Gaststatten,die verschiedenartige Speisen anbieten. Ein grosses Reichtum der Stadt ausser Meer ist der Pomorier Salzsee,auf dessem Boden der bekannte Heilschlamm von Pomorie liegt. Der Pomorier Heilschlamm ist durch seine Heilwirkung weltbekannt und als balneologisches Zentrum ist Pomorie schon im Altertum bekannt.
