Our house Anfangmuehle is located in the healthy climate air health resort between Berchtesgaden & Marktschellenberg advantageous for traffic at the district Unterau. The holiday home is offering it self as a perfect starting point for visiting many natural beauties of the Berchtesgadener Land & many different winter sport activities in the close neighbourhood, also for bicycle & walking tours. The holiday home in the first floor is situated admidst of a big garden area with own source water and an idyllic trout pond a little higher at the outskirts of the forest. From the living room & one of the bedrooms you can attain directly to the terrace which is roofed over and to the lawn for sunbathing. Perfect for a nice breakfast or barbecue.

Central admidst impressive mountain scenery of the mountain Untersberg full of legendaries with 6470 ft on the one side & the Eagle's Nest full of history with 6017 ft next to the Mountain Hoher Goell with 8277 ft on the other side, located in the district Unterau, only 8 miles from the festivals famous city Salzburg which is rich of culture & only 3 miles from the town Berchtesgaden away. In the near of the undomesticated flume "Almbachklamm" with Germany's last marble ball mill, which exists since the year 1683, the public house "Gasthaus zur Kugelmuehle", the public house "Gasthaus zur Almbachklamm" & a supermarket.

How to find us:

From the motorway A8 Munich to Salzburg you have to go across the border from Germany to Austria, then drive along the main road A 10 towards Villach/Graz another circa 4 miles to the exit #8 Salzburg Süd (South)/ Anif-Groedig/ Berchtesgaden. From there over Groedig along Berchtesgaden on the road 160 to Marktschellenberg on the road 305 still 3 miles to Berchtesgaden to the destination.
