Puerto Varas, founded by German colonists, is situated on the south shore of beautiful Lago Llanquihue, Chile s largest lake, 625 miles south of Santiago and 12 miles north of Puerto Montt, the capital of the 10th Region. Hosteria Outsider offers a direct Airport Transfer Service from/to International Airport El Tepual (Puerto Montt). Puerto Varas is also the starting point for South America's most traditional excursion; the magnificent bus-boat combination to San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, for excursions to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park and to Alerce Andino National Park and for one of southern Chile's most challenging climbs, Volcán Osorno.

Coming from Puerto Montt: >Turn off at the exit "Puerto Varas/ Sur" >Follow the signs "Puerto Varas - Centro" >Drive on until arriving at crossing Del Salvador Street (traffic light). >You are in the San Francisco Street. Continue straight ahead approx. 200 m (Portales), turn left into Portales Street. After 60 m turn left again into San Bernardo Street. You can't miss the Hosteria Outsider on the right side in front of the Supermercado O'Higgins and Goodyear.
