The holiday accommodation " Nordmark " is located quiet and idyllically in the Nordmark of Värmland. The summer house has been tastefully renovated recently. In the nearer surrrounding people, interes-ted in fishing, can find many interesting rivers and lakes with rich animal and plant life. The next "Älv" (river) is only 500 meters away from the domicile. But also canoe tours, hunting, golf or wandering for mushrooms are some of the possible activities around "Nordmark".

Self-catering.
-Bedclothes and towels have to be brought along.
-The final cleaning, bedclothes and towels are included in the rent
-The electric current will be calculated at 0,25 Euro /kWh at the day of departure and will be added extra.
-Wood for the open fire is included in the rent
-A canoe can be rented for 85 Euro

Welcome to a unique area illustrating Sweden's oldest traditions in mining and metal-working. Here you are always close to impressive, everchanging scenery. The rich bedrock has also influenced plant life everywhere in the area. Many different activities awit you. There are exciting adventures and unforgettable experiences.

At Nykroppa there are old mining traditions which go back to the 16th century, traditions which are now being carried on by present-day industrialist who make, for example, steel safety-doors. At Hornkullen north of Nykroppa, silver was mined up to the mid-1800s. Today you can enter the old galleries, if you dare, and if you like, you can try cutting stone and gold-washing. And when you are at Hornkullen, be sure to visit Lars-Erik Olsson and his much admired eagle owl breeding centre
