It´ s really pleasant only crossing the street and enjoy the beach with our perfect climate, perhaps try a Caipirinha or another baihan specialty. At the evening and at night cares the pension for your relaxing.
Comfortable apartments with air-condition, ventilator, TV, minibar, veranda with hammock should let you sleep quietly. A good conversation or a game of Backgammon let the eving be satisfactory in our American Bar.
With a tropical breakfast, including juices, fruits, ham and cheese you are prepared for the next day.
Laundry, barbeque, playground, Internet-Café, private parking complete our services for you.

Description of the area:

Our pension is situated in the bay of Salvador da Bahia at the main island Itaparica. The beach “ Ponta de Areia” is the best beach from Itaparica, only one mile from the city which has the same name as the island.
You can see Salvador, but Itaparica has his own flair, which is totally different to the capital. The see in front of the house invites you during the complete year to take a bath.
The water is clear and warm, there are no waves. Leaving Salvador, you take a catamaran or the ferry-boat, which leaves every hour.

How to find us:

Arriving at the Airport Salvador, it´ s the best to ask a Taxi (22 miles, 40 USD) for the Ferry in "São Joaquim". On the other side, at the island ask another Taxi (4 miles, 10 USD) for Pousada Tropicália in Ponta de Areia. We can pick you up at the airport, if you want - ask for.
