Pon de Rock is a property with three ocean-front jamaican style studios. It is located in Fort Charles, a small community near Treasure Beach. This is a very quiet coastal area with spectacular views on to the longest natural beach of the south coast of Jamaica

Detailed description:

You will find a gazebo with a table and benches in front of the house and shady sitting areas under trees. There is a bathroom with a shower/WC and a separate outdoor shower. The rooms are very well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped with all cooking utensils, a fridge with freezer, a gas stove and oven. There is a kitchen bar with stools. The bedroom area of the blue house has two single beds. There are Queen-size beds in the two studios of the yellow house. The houses are surrounded by wonderful rock formations with nearby, accessible caves. There are great views over the Fort Charles Beach. The property has many shady areas with trees and agaves, where you can sit and watch the pelicans and dolphins and have a "sundowner" . We have beautiful sunsets. Great snorkelling is available all along the coastline.

Description of the area:

Treasure Beach mainly consists of some fishing villages and bays including Great Bay, Calabash Bay, Frenchman's Bay, Billy's Bay and Fort Charles, stretching on a distance of approx. 7 km along the coast. Treasure Beach with its wonderful sandy beaches is a real alternative to the over-developed areas on the north- and westcoast.
