Holidays in the country "Queen Charlotte Wilderness Park" in Picton (Marlborough)
mainlandisland native wildlife santuary and eco-restoration site
Detailed description:
QCWP is a mainland island native wildlife sanctuary in the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand. Originally a large sheep station the property is now dedicated to “ the business of saving our environment” and the pastureland is being left to revert to native forest. Another important aspect of the Parks business is to entertain a small number of nature-loving guests from around the world and to act as a forum for positive discussion about serious world environmental problems particularly climate change.
