Terre di Orpiano is a typical Marchigian farmhouse dating back to the 19 th century located on a secluted and dominating position with beautiful and uninterrupted views across the Potenza valley and the magnificent art town of San Severino Marche overlooked by its medieval towers. The architecture of the house reminds the territory and the renovation works have been carried out with total respect to its history and in harmony with the surrounding nature.
The house features exposed beamed ceilings with tiles throughout and it is comfortably furnished with period pieces: a harmonious blend of rural and antique furniture and the functional convenience of modern infrastructure.
Tamerici, Terrazza, Alloro and Tramonto are the four apartments available at Terre di Orpiano for self-catering holidays: three are family size with two double bedrooms and one with a double bedroom is ideal for a couple. All the units have a private outdoor area equipped with garden furniture for dining outside and face the garden where the pool is located.
The pool measuring 6m x 13 m is suitable for children with steps down into the shallow end. It is set on a landscaped garden where guests can relax with a full immersion in the nature, enjoying a picture postcard landscape with distant views over the hills.

Description of the area:

The town of San Severino, rich in art and history and just five minutes drive from the house, is well served by traditional shops and larger supermarkets. Sport facilities include, tennis, horse riding, indoor swimming pool, mountain biking, bowling alley.
The recommended places to visit, reachable in less than two hours drive, are the wellknown Urbino, Ascoli Piceno and in the near Umbria Perugia, Gubbio and Assisi with its enchanting mystic atmosphere. At an easy 45 minutes driving are the spectacular Frasassi caves and the Sanctuary of Loreto. Lovely seaside towns along the Adriatic coast are at 45 mins drive away with Porto Recanati, Numana and Sirolo being the nearest. Numerous are the historic and art towns to explore in the area that can be reached in 15-30 mns drive such as Tolentino, Camerino, Matelica, Cingoli, San Ginesio, Urbisaglia, Recanati and Macerata where a renowned open air Opera Festival is held every year in july and august.
